
Camps
The first educationally organized camp in Japan was developed by the Osaka YMCA in 1920. Today, about 20 YMCA campsites throughout the nation offer group and individual programs in every season. YMCA Camps provide for families, for mental or physical challenged and for international outdoors enthusiasts.
Goals of YMCA Camps
1. Promote a deeper understanding of nature
2. Practice good habits
3. Develop and experience a healthy lifestyle
4. Learn creative skills to give richness to life
5. Develop social responsibility through group activities
6. Experience God's grace and nurture thankful spirit
